Cinéfête
Since 2004, the Cinéfête school film series is organized by the French Embassy, the Institut Français Germany and the AG Cinema - Guild, the Association of German Arthouse Cinemas and Film Art Theaters. It now tours over 100 locations and 120 movie theaters every year. The festival moves the classroom to the cinema and offers the opportunity to learn the language and discover French culture with a variety of topics. Whether drama, comedy or animated film — the Cinéfête is aimed at French students of all grades and language levels. All films are shown in Original version with German subtitles; materials and educational files for each film can be found on the Cinéfête homepage.
The Moritzhof has been part of the Cinéfête since 2001, with the 2nd edition. In 2026, the Cinéfête will take place from June 2 to July 2.

- Capacity: 50 people (Stall)/31 people (Unterm Dach)/180 people (Scheune)
- Admission: 4€ per student; teachers and accompanying persons have free admission.
