Arne Semsrott „Gegenmacht. Die Zivilgesellschaft schlägt zurück"
A Guide to the Democratic Offensive. Much of what author and political activist Arne Semsrott described in his bestseller *Machtübernahme* as a grim scenario of a right-wing conservative shift has already become a bitter reality. We are currently witnessing a harsh border regime, the denigration of financially disadvantaged people, attacks on democratic civil society, the end of climate protection, and a politics of fear. What can be done to stop the authoritarian shift? In his new book, Arne Semsrott uses numerous concrete examples to show how we can move from the defensive to the offensive, including through:
- strategic legal battles,
- solidarity-based care work,
- our own spaces,
- courageous strikes and the building of collective power,
- civil society crisis aid,
- the fight for fair administration instead of bureaucratic cuts for the rich,
