Rasmus Syman: Hungry
Rasmus Syman is hungry. Hungry for food, for love, for applause. Never satisfied. Perhaps it has something to do with him trying to get into the best shape of his life just in time for his midlife crisis. Or perhaps there is more to it than that. To find out, Rasmus is taking this feeling on his second solo tour. "Hungry" is about masculinity, jealousy, shame, and the desperate desire to be liked. It’s raw, direct, often over the top, but always with an attempt to charmingly explain his own shortcomings. After working as a mail carrier, bartender, game developer, design lecturer, and IT freelancer, Rasmus Syman didn't turn to stand-up comedy until 2019, and in recent years he has become one of the most sought-after headliners in German comedy clubs. Since May 2025, he has been touring the country with his first solo show, "Alles Ego," while simultaneously writing jokes for late-night shows or scripts for TV sitcoms. In the fall of 2026, his short story collection "Ich bleib morgen liegen" was published, and his sketches delight 2-3 million people on Instagram every month.
