Adam Gusowski „Karambolage Polska + Das Weimarer Dreieck“
An evening set between Warsaw, Paris, and Berlin—full of satire, self-deprecation, and European complications. Adam Gusowski is a satirist, author, and cultural bridge-builder. For over 25 years, he has been performing on stages, in front of microphones, and on camera—as a keen observer of German-Polish-French misunderstandings. At the FRANKO.FOLIE! festival, he presents his work for the ARTE series Karambolage—“Karambolage Polska”—as well as a satirical program developed especially for us on “German-French-Polish love as exemplified by the unequal Weimar Triangle.” With humor, absurdity, and Eastern European precision, Gusowski dismantles national clichés, cultural sensitivities, and grand European sentiments. His satirical show moves between cabaret, literary performance, and political grotesque. Adam Gusowski is co-founder and co-operator of the legendary “Club of Polish Losers” in Berlin, as well as author of the book of the same name.
