Französische Filmwoche

Organised by the Institut français Germany, the French Film Week (Französische Filmwoche) has been celebrating the best and latest films from French and Francophone cinema every year since 2000. From 2014 to 2023, the Moritzhof, together with the Institut français Saxony-Anhalt and partner cinemas, organised its own local edition of the festival each year. Since 2024, the Saxony-Anhalt French Film Week has joined the Germany-wide festival, featuring a programme of preview screenings and exclusive Francophone film productions. The next French Film Week is expected to take place in November 2026.
