What makes us happy? Is it the dopamine rush we get from winning a game, getting new likes, or watching funny videos? Is it looking good and receiving recognition? Or maybe going for a walk makes us happy? Or a good movie, a great concert? Or the cat? Or just doing nothing? Digital platforms deliver quick happiness without much effort. But they also fuel dissatisfaction through envy, doubt, and highlights from other people’s lives that are often so far removed from our own reality. What do we actually need to be happy? And does Grandpa need the same things as his granddaughter? Does the same thing make Mom happy as it does her son? What’s the deal with happiness? Together, let’s set out on a journey to discover what makes us happy—individually and collectively. Because shared experiences not only do us good but can also bring happiness and protect us from adversity and dependencies.

GOALS/FOCUS AREAS: _ Reflecting on one’s own desires and needs_ Critically examining quick (digital) promises of happiness_ Exploring analog alternatives to complement digital moments of happiness_ Suggestions for increasing well-being to protect against dependencies
