Ulan & Bator: Überraschungszwei

In 2026, Ulan & Bator will celebrate their 25th anniversary! This isn’t just something to be celebrated—it’s something to be danced to, sung about, and performed! And we’ll do it with a colorful anniversary evening featuring favorite numbers, well-known and lesser-known classics, forgotten and unforgettable songs—both big and small—as well as treats of a different kind. The show will be called ÜBERRASCHUNGSZWEI and will be part of the program alongside UNDSINN.

“Striking coolness, perfect timing… magnificent slapstick theater” (Jury for the German Cabaret Award)

“Their performance had the jury and the audience rolling in the aisles. They pushed the limits with their physical and verbal absurdity, delivering magnificent Dada and a highly creative new format.” (Ludwig Müller at the award ceremony for the Passau Executioner’s Axe)

“Just like with the Monty Pythons, this comedy—which is both intellectual and delightfully silly—sparkles thanks to brilliant acting. And there’s another similarity: it’s addictive.” (Oliver Hochkeppel on the premiere of UNDSINN in the Süddeutsche Zeitung)
